🚨 SMART Alert | E-Scooter Seized on Ferry Street 🚨

Whilst dealing with a separate traffic offence, officers also seized an electric scooter on Ferry Street.

The rider was stopped and found to be using the e-scooter on a public road, where it did not meet the legal requirements for use. The scooter was subsequently seized.

This serves as a reminder that privately owned e-scooters can only be used on private land with the landowner's permission and are not permitted for use on public roads, pavements, or cycle paths unless part of an approved rental scheme.
